Summary: "Better than your average sponge"

It costs the same as any other sponge you might pick up at the supermarket, but unlike those sponges, it doesn't smell of chemicals. The texture is firm enough for scrubbing, yet porous enough to sop up spills - a nice compromise for those caught between the dichotomy of the squishy and scruffy sides of a Scotch Brite type pad. I suppose the claims about its stylishness is up to personal taste, but it does seem to remain remarkably clean; I was certain a white sponge would be discolored and nasty after a week of use, but food and dirt doesn't seem to stick to this thing. There's no way I'm going back to the dirty, smelly, chemically sponges in the grocery store.

This sponge never smells funky like a conventional sponge. It wrings dry, is very absorbent and is biodegradable. I love it.

Summary: "Great and economical sponge"

This product works great and avoids bringing unhealthy chemicals into my house. I cut them in half to ensure a hand sized sponge, but that just means that it is an even more economical buy. Just like other sponges you can zap it in the microwave to sanitize, plus it is extra absorbent. I used it to clean up an entire cup of spilled coffee without having to wring it out.
